Social distancing monitoring
To halt or slow down the spread of a contagious disease that is transmitted from person to person, such as COVID-19, social distancing is implemented. This refers to the physical distancing between individuals and aims to prevent contact between infected and non-infected people, so that the disease cannot spread through respiratory droplets expelled while sneezing or talking. Some considerations that are useful for its implementation include: maintaining a distance of 1.5 meters between individuals; avoiding crowds and mass gatherings when it is difficult to maintain the aforementioned distance; avoiding meetings in enclosed spaces; refraining from direct contact such as shaking hands, hugging, or kissing other people; not sharing mate, tableware, and utensils; avoiding public transportation, among others.
Monitoring system for people in indoor or outdoor environments, identification of individuals, and verification of compliance with social distancing.
Face mask usage monitoring
Among the measures implemented to stop or slow down the spread of a contagious disease transmitted from person to person, such as COVID-19, the use of face masks or coverings is implemented. It has been globally established that wearing a face mask is mandatory when a person is outside their own home, except for those who are exempt for medical reasons. Face masks should be worn by individuals using public transportation, private transportation with two or more people, and in enclosed public spaces, among others.
